In honor of Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness month, we’ve invited our local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association to speak today. The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia – by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Our speakers today are Denise Hund, Family Care Associate and Ariana Myers, Community Educator from the Alzheimer’s Association. Denise and Ariana are sharing their Effective Communications Strategies program that provides practical information and resources to help dementia caregivers learn to decode verbal messages from early to late-stage care.
