2021 Caregiver Virtual Event Highlights

With the generous support of our Coalition members and event sponsors; Dignity Health, Mission Senior Living, AARP, Caring Transitions, Right at Home, Senior Coalition of Washoe County, and the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services Aging and Disability Services Division, we recognized 80 exceptional caregivers across the state during our live event and on social media.

The Jerry Cruitt Award
for Exceptional Support to the Caregiving Community

In 2016 the Nevada Caregivers Coalition created a perpetual award in memory of Jerry Cruitt for his tireless commitment to caregiving. He played a crucial role in helping establish the Coalition and to keep it going. This year we’re honoring a woman who’s level of dedication to caregivers and the caregiving cause is legendary in Nevada.
